Writing about scripture is not something I ever “wanted” to do. I’ve tried to avoid the calling, ignore it, and substitute it with such schemes as “maybe if I touch on Christian themes in poems, that’ll be enough.”

But time cannot dull it nor other work stop it. There are things that must be said, must be written, and I must try. Even if no one finds them helpful, I must be obedient, for the task is mine.

In the body of Christ, I will of course not be the only source; teaching and instruction is available from many people and places, just as there are many parts of the lung that supply the body with oxygen. I’m not the only cell to serve such a purpose–but if I do not serve, there may be portions of the body that will needlessly struggle and suffer when I could’ve helped.

I pray my words be used by God to bless you and help you in your journey with Him.

Thank you,

Andrea Lundgren
